Wellow Parish Community Forum

A meeting is being held at Wellow Village Hall on Tuesday 18th March 2008 from 6pm to view the proposed scheme for traffic calming in Wellow. A presentation and discussion will be held from 7.30pm. Please come to share your thoughts and views.

A good turnout by villagers to hear the proposals presented by the Parish Council and representatives from Hamilton-Baille and B&NES Highways. General discussions took place that gave all the opportunity to aire their views and concerns/approval. Concensus of the meeting was summed up by The Parish Council Chairman with a proposal to proceed to the advanced design of 5 of the 8 shared space proposals presented. These 5 being The West End gateway through to the Village Square and up Bath Hill to the North Gateway.
